GRAPE INTENTIONS Delivers Dud-Free Wine and Supports Charities One Sip at a Time

Washington, DC - There's a new wine experience in town, and it's right at your doorstep. After a successful friends and family preview, Grape Intentions announced today its official launch.

Grape Intentions is an online wine subscription service that makes it easier to enjoy good wine. In addition it gives a portion of each monthly subscription cost to local and national charities. Charity partners include Wine to Water, The Trevor Project, Semper Fi Fund, DC Central Kitchen, and Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC.

Founders Brett H. Freeman and Alex DelSordo developed a brief quiz that learns the subscribers palate. The algorithm helps Brett, a sommelier, determine which bottles the subscriber should receive. The subscriber then has an opportunity to rate the wines and experience. Over time, Grape Intentions learns the subscriber's palate and consistently sends dud-free wine.

The wine is sourced from around the world. Unlike competitors in the market space, Grape Intentions is not held to sending private label wines, winery-specific wines, or wines purchased in bulk orders. Each bottle shipped to subscribers is hand-curated to their palate.
